UPS services across the Midwestern, Southern, and Northeastern United States may be impacted by severe winter weather over the next several days. While UPS facilities are providing pickup and delivery services as conditions permit, some delays are possible.

Additional disruptions in our air network are expected due to severe winter conditions affecting our Louisville, KY air hub, UPS’s main hub in the United States. Although your location may not be impacted by adverse weather, the movement of packages in the network may be delayed by conditions in other areas.

We will work to ensure the safety of our employees while minimizing effects on service. Contingency plans are in place to help ensure that shipments arrive at their final destinations as quickly as possible.

Crop for Correct Size

Cropping affects sizing.

  • Crop tight to the design edges
  • Remove extra transparent space
  • Resize after cropping

Color Considerations

DTF is a CMYK print process. Some RGB/neon colors may shift when printed.

  • Use solid, print-friendly colors
  • Keep expectations realistic for ultra-neon shades
  • Order a color sample prior to long runs

Minimum Line Width

For thin, free-floating lines, we recommend a minimum line width of:

  • 0.019 in (1.4 pt)
    Anything smaller may not adhere well.
  • Thicken strokes or add an outline for better durability

Resolution

For best results, submit artwork at:

  • 300 DPI at final print size
    Low-resolution files can print pixelated.
  • Avoid screenshots and tiny images that need heavy enlarging

Show-Through & Hand Feel

More negative space (less ink coverage) can improve:

  • Breathability
  • Softer hand feel
    Solid blocks of ink may feel heavier on the garment.

Semi-Transparent Edges

Feathered edges and semi-transparent pixels can print as a thin white outline/halo.

  • Remove glows/feathering
  • Harden edges before exporting

Soft Edges / Fadeouts

Soft fades can create a white halo in DTF.

  • Use halftones instead of feathered fades when possible
  • Test small details before running large quantities

Transparent Background

DTF prints everything in the file.

  • Make sure your background is truly transparent
  • White boxes/backgrounds will print if they’re in the image

Crop for Correct Size

Cropping affects sizing.

  • Crop tight to the design edges
  • Remove extra transparent space
  • Resize after cropping

Color Matching

Screens vary and prints may look different than what you see on your monitor.

  • Use HEX/Pantone references when possible
  • For the closest match, order a color chart
